Test Engineer

Basic Qualifications: 

Bachelor's degree in Engineering. 

Minimum 8 years of experience testing hardware and software assemblies and organizing and managing system testing. 

• Demonstrated experience creating test protocols to validate system requirements. 

• Demonstrable excellent written, oral communication and client relationship skills. 

• Ability to understand Production Drawing Packages. 

• Broad technical project management experience, including the implementation, application, and support of requirements generating and tracking tools (IBM Rational DOORS) and services. 

• Proven experience in the implementation, integration and application of Microsoft Project. 

• Demonstrated expertise in Configuration Management. 

• Experience managing/leading technical efforts to define and execute goals and objectives, plans, timelines, and providing quality assurance of deliverables. 

• Possesses or is able to obtain a public trust clearance. 

 

Responsibilities: 

Perform test requirements from system-level capability requirements and detailed sub-system specifications. 

• Use requirement traceability tools such as IBM Rational DOORS for system requirements management and test and validation management. 

• Facilitate the planning and documentation of system testing requirements among appropriate government SMEs. 

• Participate in the planning and oversight of execution for test, evaluation, and validation. 

• Process and analyze the information gathered to assemble a comprehensive and organized representation of the subject matter for use in executing tasks or authoring deliverables, and where applicable, to support decision making. 

• Assist in the publication of project materials and acquisition deliverables. 

• Act as advisor to test engineering team regarding projects, tasks, and operations and acts as a liaison to other engineering functions. Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Deployment Engineer

Basic Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, logistics or program management and 8+ years of progressive proven experience. 

• Demonstrable excellent written, oral communications and client relationship management skills. 

• Deployment or engineering experience for a federal agency or contractor working on a defined “major acquisition program” or major commercial program. 

• Broad technical project experience, including the implementation, application and support of management and logistics tools and services – i.e. knowledgeable in practical aspects of project management, program controls, and project management software. 

• Knowledgeable in practical aspects of deployment plan development and implementation such as, maintenance, logistics life cycle, initial deployment, program controls, and documentation. 

• Proven experience in the implementation, integration and application of Microsoft Project 

• Excellent team building and implementation skills. 

• Experience managing/leading deployment and logistics related efforts to define and execute goals and objectives, plans, timelines, and providing quality assurance of deliverables.

Responsibilities: 

• Provide expertise in the areas of deployment and logistics. 

• Lead the project deployment strategy definition, to include mid-lifecycle adjustments if necessary. 

• Document government directed changes, including the associated impacts on cost, schedule, and risk in the overall project management plan and schedules, or where applicable, other controlling documents. 

• Identify and coordinate with appropriate internal and external subject matter experts (SME) within the project and throughout the organization(s) to identify the holders of information necessary to advance the task or deliverable. 

• Plan and facilitate technical working groups. 

• Process and analyze the information gathered from the federal SMEs and, as applicable, internal and external stakeholders to assemble a comprehensive and organized representation of the subject matter for use in executing tasks or authoring deliverables, and where applicable, to support decision making. 

• Develop and submit engineering and technical artifacts, memoranda, and written presentations required for supporting the Department’s Management Review Board meetings, and milestone reviews throughout each phase of the project. 

Web Developer

The Sponsor requires Contractor support for Web and Multimedia Development supporting a training organization. The Sponsor’s team is responsible for supporting all learning technology requirements, including the development of internal web-enabled infrastructure along with external learning and training materials supporting a large workforce.

Tool Developer

The Contractor team shall be responsible for development and maintenance of new and existing tools for the Sponsor’s Innovation Cell. Several of the Sponsor’s tools reside on Amazon Web Services (AWS)/Sponsors Cloud Services and will need support in Application Development, User Interface (UI) Development and Cloud Architecture support.
